This modernist Swedish architecture is an ode to the simple (but beautiful!) things in life. Designed by Sweden architect John Robert Nilsson, this glass wall house was built on a limestone-covered concrete foundation that serves as an outdoor deck encircling the modernist house, sheltered under the overhanging roof. The glass walls actually end between the limestone slabs, offering a true “barely there” effect. Behind these floor-to-ceiling glass walls, minimalist interiors are crisp and contemporary – a stark contrast to the rough, rugged outdoors. Situated 23 meters above sea level, views of the sea and sun are ever-present from any point in the raised house plan. John Robert Nilsson
